TestDiscover

Privacy policy

This policy describes how Test & Discover handles information in its current, early form. It will be updated if the product starts storing personal data.

Quiz answers

Interactive tests on Test & Discover calculate results in your browser. Answer choices live in page memory for the duration of the quiz. They are not sent to a server and are not saved when you leave or refresh the page.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel may process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps in order to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose errors. Test & Discover does not currently run a separate analytics product.

Contact messages

If you email hello.testanddiscover@gmail.com or open a GitHub issue, the information you choose to send is stored by that service (your email provider or GitHub), not in a Test & Discover user database. There is no Test & Discover account system yet.

Theme preference

If you choose dark or light mode, the site stores that preference in your browser under a localStorage key so the next visit can keep the same theme. That value never leaves your device as part of a Test & Discover account or analytics event.

Cookies and ads

Test & Discover does not currently set advertising cookies or load ad networks. If display ads or analytics are added later, this page will be updated before that happens.

Children

The site is a general-audience content project. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If the way data is handled changes — for example saved results, accounts, or third-party analytics — this policy will be revised. Questions can go through the contact page.
